WHAT IS AFFILIATE MARKETING?
Affiliate marketing, for beginners is a type of online business where you earn a commission by promoting other company's product or service. Your main job is to recommend the product to the right people and guide them to buy through your unique affiliate link. When someone clicks your affiliate link and buys, you get paid.
Think of it like this:
You're a digital salesman, you promote through
- Blogs
- Social media
- YouTube
Let's say, your focus is on skincare, you can write a skincare blog,
- You write a blog post: ' Best sunscreens for oily skin'
- You add affiliate links to the sunscreens you recommend.
- A reader clicks your link and buys one
- The brand pays you a commission
You didn't manufacture the product but promoted it by bringing in more buyers to the products, now that's affiliate marketing.
The strategies are still applicable worldwide, let that not be your limitations 👍
